| Minneapolis Star June 28th 1969. This greeted me on my return home (ETS). An AP photographer had come in looking for a ride on an airdrop mission. I didn't want to bother with him and sent him up with Sp5 John Shaw. The photographer sent us a bunch of pictures and this is the one I have on the bottom of the clipping. All I can say is "Wow, I could have been on the front page of the local paper. What a home coming! |
