First Lieutenant Derrill Vance Seavey Birth: Feb. 13, 1945 LA Death: Jul. 30, 2015 Summerville Dorchester Co., SC Derrill Vance Seavey, 70, of Summerville died July 30, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A highly decorated military man, Derrill received the Silver Star and the Distinguished Flying Cross during his service in the U. S. Air Force as a C-141 pilot in Vietnam [458, 68]. He attended Southeastern University in Lafayette, La., where he received a BS degree. He retired as an air traffic controller at Charleston International Airport. He was a Mason at Lodge # 369 on Dorchester Road. |
